The Annual Gold Beach Football Camp most often sees last minute changes, drops and additions.

2010 is no different than previous years.  We have seen 4 teams drop from the camp roster for a number of reasons, ranging from coaching changes to the crisis in public education.  With that being said we have four [4] openings for teams who would like to come to camp.  One [1] in Session I, two [2] in Session II, and one [1] in Session III.

  • HFC Kevin Swift is very open and flexible in assisting teams with last minute decisions to come to camp.
  • We have had a tentative request by Del Norte High School, CA , a long time camp participant, to return to camp with their new coach.  We have also seen some interest from a couple of Washington schools ... so if you are interested contact HFC Kevin Swift ASAP.
  • Each session will be limited to 14-16 teams (based on the size of participating schools) with a waiting list of six [6] teams/schools.
  • It has been our experience in the past that there will be changes in each session's line-up due to changing circumstances as camp approaches.  Please check the website often and keep in touch with HFC Coach Kevin Swift and Ken (Pops) Swift
  • Featured Camp Teams will change every month.
  • Links to MaxPreps for each team's records, rosters, stats, photos, and information for teams who have participated in camp.  See Camp Participants and click on teams highlighted in green.
  • Heads Up and important information for coaches.
  • Electronic version of our Camp Newsletter.
  • All about camp information and photos of the facilities.
  • Links to information about Gold Beach, Oregon and America's Wild Rivers Coast.

Important Info Regarding Team Sign-Up

Teams interested in signing up for camp can request to be placed on the waiting list now and sign-up beginning December 15th, 2009.  Please remember camp is limited to 14 to 16 teams per session and there are three [3] sessions.  Camp enrollment is based on first come first served basis with returning teams given preference.

It is suggested that anyone/team/school interested in camp return to the camp web site often.  We have found that it is a great way to keep informed of camp news and to follow teams who have participated in camp over the years.  Lots of fun, photos, and information is added on a regular basis, and a great place to follow high school football throughout Oregon and the Western USA.

This year (2010) we hope to gather our important Data via our web site and faxing the form to Ken (Pops) Swift

Coaches you can find the Data Form in MS Word format in the forms section of the web site.  Please complete ASAP and fax it back to Pops before the end of March ... sooner is better ... we understand that the data is only an estimate ... but invaluable to use in planning camp and keeping cost down.
